March = Green = So Many Good Things

I am sitting at the end of the hall from my apartment unit where the WiFi spills down from the roof.  The sunshine is pouring in through the windows and I casually glance up at The Mountain every so often.  Spring is definitely in the air here and I can't wait.  While WA has not had a rough winter- AT ALL- the transition from winter to spring is still uplifting.  Through a series of events in my life March has become my favorite month, but even more so this year as there is so much to celebrate:

  1. Josh got some rad new ink on the 1st and yes it is FRESH :)
  2. My parents were recently out for the second time, which is always a blessing and a joy
  3. The NorthWest Ministry Conference is next weekend- we arrived the day before it began last year- it was how our adventure began in Seattle.
  4. St. Patricks Day- the perfect day to celebrate green, have a shamrock shake, eat homemade shepherds pies and Irish soda bread washed down with a Guinness.
  5. The First Day of Spring which also is our anniversary- celebrating 3 years on the 20th!
  6. The 21st will mark our one year of being in Seattle- can you believe it?
  7. And just before the month ends we have the joy of celebrating Easter.
I greatly look forward to celebrating Easter this year and how Jesus has radically changed and grown Josh and I in the past year.  While March may not be as packed as ours, there is still SO MUCH to celebrate because Jesus is Alive!
