Well it is 10 pm here but I wanted to get a blog posted today. One month from today Josh and I will be leaving Seattle. We will begin our "Valley to Valley" spring tour, which will end in MN on May 15th. We never thought it would be this hard to leave. Our time here has been so much more than expected; we are truly grateful.
Our first few times at Mars Hill were for Good Friday and Easter- and while we are still at Mars Hill, this year was very different. This year Easter was a celebration with our church family. The service started out with our very own Pastor Willie Will rapping and letting us all know "it's a resurrection party!". The sermon was a live simulcast- so even though we were still watching Mark on a screen, it was cool to think about how all the Mars Hill locations were connected at once. And in case you were wondering Mark said "Jesus" 126 times in a 30 minute sermon.
My sister pointed out that while in Seattle we got to celebrate Easter twice. That alone is a great reflection of our time out here because its all about Jesus.
